For Traditional Taxi Fleets

Modernize your 50–200 vehicle fleet —without losing a single shift

If you're running a traditional taxi business on Autocab, iCabbi, CabTreasure, or Cordic, you're paying for software that was good in 2008. TaxiDex moves you to a modern cloud platform in 14 days, with zero downtime, while converting your phone bookings to app users.

The four problems

Why your operations director isn't sleeping well

Legacy dispatch systems share the same four issues. Each one quietly costs real revenue.

The problem

Dead Mileage

Drivers complete a drop-off, return empty, lose 15–25 minutes and a gallon of fuel before getting their next ride. On legacy dispatch, every shift loses 10–15% of earnings to dead mileage.

The TaxiDex fix

AI Proximity Logic

TaxiDex's AI dispatch assigns the next ride before the current drop-off completes, when a nearby pickup matches the projected position — designed to cut empty miles meaningfully in the first 90 days.

The problem

Peak Hour Dispatch Failures

Friday 11pm. Saturday 1am. Phones ringing off the hook. Manual dispatchers miss calls, customers go to Uber/Bolt, drivers sit idle. Industry studies: 20–40% of peak bookings are lost.

The TaxiDex fix

AI Auto-Dispatch

TaxiDex's AI auto-dispatch handles 90%+ of bookings without dispatcher touch. Average ride assignment in <200ms. Wait times drop 30%. Dispatchers only handle exceptions, VIPs, and complaints.

The problem

IVR & Phone-only Loyalty

Your most loyal customers still call. Each call ties up a phone line, requires a dispatcher, and never becomes an app user. Conversion to your branded app stays under 10%.

The TaxiDex fix

IVR-to-App Conversion

After every IVR booking, TaxiDex auto-sends an SMS with your branded app link. Customers who download once typically return on the app — a well-known pattern for converting phone callers to repeat app users.

The problem

Driver Churn

Drivers tire of glitchy apps, opaque earnings, and slow payouts. Annual driver churn in many taxi fleets is 40–60%. Recruitment is expensive; trained drivers are precious.

The TaxiDex fix

Transparent Wallet + Instant Payout

Drivers see live earnings per ride. Daily payouts to debit card or bank. Tips paid out instantly. In-app coaching highlights how to earn more. Our fleets typically see 30–50% reduction in churn.

After cutover

What your operation runs on after the switch

The same fleet, the same drivers, the same phone numbers — running on a cloud console built for the way a 50–200 vehicle operation actually works.

TaxiDex live operations map showing driver markers with status halos across a city

One live map replaces the radio chatter

Every vehicle in your fleet appears on a single live operations map — driver markers with status halos show who is free, en route, on a job, or off shift at a glance, and SOS panic alerts surface on the same screen the moment a driver triggers one. The auto-dispatch rules engine assigns 90%+ of bookings without a dispatcher touching them, so Friday 11pm stops being a switchboard emergency.

When a human call is needed, the dispatch board lets your team drag jobs between drivers, pre-assign contract work and school runs, and rebalance a postcode in seconds. The ops command center keeps supervisors on top of the whole shift instead of buried in it.

  • Live driver markers, status halos, and SOS alerts on one map
  • Auto-dispatch rules engine — dispatchers handle exceptions, not everything
  • Drag-and-drop dispatch board with driver pre-assignment
  • Flight tracking adjusts airport pickups when arrivals shift
TaxiDex enterprise fare engine with zones, zone-to-zone pricing, and surge rules

Your zones and fares come across exactly

The fare migration is where legacy switches usually go wrong — so TaxiDex treats it as the heart of the import. Your zones are redrawn on a live map, zone-to-zone pricing comes across row by row, and surge rules, surcharge rules, and per-region tax rules are rebuilt in the enterprise fare engine before cutover.

The engine’s policies are strict and auditable: multipliers stack with caps, fixed fares stay fixed no matter what surge is doing, and every fare is computed on the backend — never in an app the driver could fiddle with. Day-one receipts match what your customers paid the week before, which is exactly the point.

  • Zones drawn on a live map, with zone-to-zone pricing intact
  • Surge, surcharges, promo codes, and per-region tax rules rebuilt to match
  • Multipliers stack with caps; fixed fares stay fixed
  • Every fare backend-computed and fully auditable

Drivers see every penny — and keep showing up

Churn drops when the money is visible. Drivers watch earnings accrue per ride in the app, commission plans are applied transparently instead of inside a black box, and settlements run on a schedule everyone can see. Payouts go out daily through Stripe Connect — to a debit card or bank account — and tips are paid out instantly.

Card payments run through Stripe and Square, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, so in-car payment stops being an argument. The same finance suite gives your office P&L, driver settlements, AR invoices, and accounting exports — the back-office work your legacy system made you do in spreadsheets.

  • Live per-ride earnings in the driver app
  • Transparent commission plans and scheduled settlements
  • Daily payouts via Stripe Connect; tips paid instantly
  • Stripe & Square card payments with Apple Pay / Google Pay

Built into Professional plan

The migration package for taxi fleets

Four pieces of white-glove work, included in the plan — not sold as an add-on services contract.

01

Zero-downtime data migration

We export your customers, drivers, zones, fares, vehicle classes, and 12 months of trip history from Autocab/iCabbi. Side-by-side parallel run until you confirm cutover.

  • White-glove export from Autocab, iCabbi, CabTreasure, or Cordic
  • Customers, drivers, zones, fares, vehicle classes, and 12 months of trips
  • Parallel run — both systems live side by side until you sign off
  • Cutover scheduled on your quietest shift, with a rollback path until confirmed
02

Dispatcher training

Two days of structured training for your dispatcher team. Hotkey reference cards, edge-case playbooks, and a dedicated solutions engineer for the first 30 days.

  • Live drills on the dispatch board and operations map, not slideware
  • Hotkey reference cards at every dispatcher seat
  • Edge-case playbooks: no-shows, driver callouts, SOS escalations
  • Dedicated solutions engineer on call for the first 30 days
03

IVR integration

Twilio/Vonage/RingCentral IVR connected to TaxiDex bookings. Caller ID matches return customers; SMS app link sent automatically after every IVR booking.

  • Keep your existing phone numbers — nothing for callers to relearn
  • Caller ID matches return customers to their account and ride history
  • Branded SMS with your app link fires after every phone booking
  • VoIP call recordings attach to the booking they produced
04

Driver onboarding

Branded driver app pushed via TestFlight/Play Store invite. In-app onboarding flow walks drivers through the new wallet, payouts, and dispatch UI. Most drivers transition in 1 shift.

  • White-label driver app in your colors and your name
  • In-app walkthrough of the wallet, payouts, and dispatch screens
  • Driver documents, shifts, and PDA settings migrate with each profile
  • Most drivers are comfortable within a single shift

Nothing left behind

What carries over on day one

A migration only counts as zero-downtime if the data lands complete. This is what moves with you.

Customer accounts, saved addresses, and booking history
Driver profiles, documents, shifts, and PDA settings
Zones redrawn on the live map with zone-to-zone pricing intact
Fare tables, surcharge rules, surge rules, and per-region tax rules
Vehicle classes, vehicle types, and vehicle attributes
12 months of trip history for reporting continuity
Corporate accounts and invoicing terms for your B2B work
Your phone lines — IVR reconnects through Twilio, Vonage, or RingCentral

Typical fleets go live in 14 days. We migrate driver data, historical bookings, and customer accounts from Autocab, iCabbi, Cordic, or any legacy system with zero downtime.

Does TaxiDex work for limo and chauffeur fleets?

Yes. TaxiDex Enterprise includes flight tracking, hotel concierge web booker, B2B corporate invoicing, and VIP workflows specifically designed for premium chauffeur and corporate transport operations.

Stripe (default global), Worldpay (UK), Trust Payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, plus regional gateways: STC Pay & mada (Saudi), Paystack & Flutterwave (Nigeria), M-Pesa (Kenya), and any custom merchant on request.

No trip overage. TaxiDex is priced per active driver — about £11 ($14) per driver a month on Starter, £9 ($11) on Professional, and from £7 ($9) on Enterprise. That is at least 20% cheaper than Autocab, iCabbi, Cordic and TaxiCaller, and white-label apps, setup and migration are all included.

Yes. The TaxiDex Web Booker is an embeddable booking widget for desktop and mobile browsers — perfect for hotel concierge desks, airports, and corporate intranets. One HTML snippet to embed.
