Limo and chauffeur business plan template

A limo business plan explains what you sell (airport transfers, hourly chauffeur hire, events, corporate accounts), the permits and insurance your regulator requires, the vehicles, how you price by the hour and by the trip, where the first clients come from and when the business covers its costs. The template below gives each section with prompts.

How is a limo plan different from a taxi plan?

Limo work is all pre-booked, sold by the hour or by the trip, and often through accounts and other operators. So the plan leans on minimum hours, utilisation of each vehicle, corporate and hotel accounts, and farm-in and farm-out work with other operators.

The template

Replace everything in square brackets and keep unproven numbers marked as assumptions.

What number matters most in a limo plan?

Billable hours per vehicle. Limo vehicles and insurance cost a lot whether the car moves or not, so the plan should show how many paid hours each vehicle sells per week, and how accounts and farm-in work fill the quiet days.

Frequently asked questions

Do banks want a business plan for a limo loan?

Usually yes for vehicle finance or a business loan; use the template's cash-flow section to show repayments are covered.

Should I start with a stretch limo?

Most chauffeur businesses start with executive sedans or SUVs, which suit transfers and corporate work; stretch limousines are an events niche. Check what your regulator's vehicle rules allow first.
