Inside TaxiDex

Taking a booking

Five basics, ticked off as you go.

Taking a booking in the TaxiDex dispatch console
The TaxiDex console, running on a demo fleet.

What it does

The booking form is built for someone typing while a customer talks. Pickup, drop-off, when, who, and which vehicle — a checklist across the top shows which of the five are done, so a dispatcher can see what is still missing without reading the whole form.

Addresses autocomplete against Google Places, so a half-remembered street name resolves without spelling it out. You can add a stop on the way, mark it a return trip, or send it now.

The fare is worked out before you save, from your own zones, tariffs and rules — not typed in and hoped for.

  • Readiness checklist so nothing is half-entered
  • Address autocomplete for pickup, drop-off and waypoints
  • Multi-stop and return trips
  • Fare calculated from your rules before the booking is saved

See it on your own fleet
