Inside TaxiDex
The dispatch console
One screen: the live map, the jobs waiting, and every driver on shift.

What it does
The console is a single screen with three columns. On the left, every driver on shift with their vehicle, cab number and current status. In the middle, a live map with each driver where they actually are. On the right, the booking queue — what is waiting, what is in progress, and what still needs a driver.
The strip across the top is the day so far: bookings taken, rides active, drivers online, jobs pending a driver, rides completed, and revenue. It updates as the day moves, so nobody has to ask the room how it is going.
Clicking a booking in the queue focuses it on the map — pickup pin, drop-off flag and the route between them — so a dispatcher answering the phone can see the job rather than picture it.
- Live driver positions over your own service area
- Booking queue split by status: pending, in progress, completed
- Click a job to see its pickup, drop-off and route on the map
- Keyboard shortcuts for the actions a dispatcher repeats all day
