The dispatch console
One screen: the job editor, the live map, and every job waiting or under way.
What it does
The console is where the work happens. On the left, the job editor for taking a booking while the customer talks. In the middle, a live map with every car where it actually is and your zones drawn on it. On the right, the jobs waiting for a driver, the ones assigned and the ones under way.
Across the top are four more ways to see the same work: Jobs overview as a table, Timeline as a plan for the day, Board as columns by stage, and Fleet wall as one card per car.
The counters above the map are the day so far: cars free, busy, away and off shift; jobs booked, dispatched, done and cancelled. They update as the day moves, so nobody has to ask the room how it is going.
