Inside TaxiDex

Dispatch rules

Rules that decide which driver gets which kind of job.

Dispatch rules in the TaxiDex dispatch console
The TaxiDex console, running on a demo fleet.

What it does

Dispatch rules run in priority order, and the first one that matches a booking decides who it is offered to. Send airport jobs to executive cars, accessible bookings to wheelchair-accessible vehicles, give corporate accounts priority, or treat long-distance and late-night work differently.

Each rule can be switched on and off on its own, so a seasonal rule can be paused without being deleted.
